Travel has been a passion at Louis Vuitton  ever since the House was founded. The invention of the automobile at the beginning of the 20th Century played an important role in the rapid rise of travel. Out of this natural association with cars, the Louis Vuitton Classic was born in 1989, bringing together old automobile lovers from all around the world. Since then, the Louis Vuitton Classic has created  stir by organizing rare car rallies and shows all around the world, including a thematic show every year in France.

The history

At the 1988 Pebble Beach Classic Car Show in the USA, Antoine Prunet,Aion Kinah, Arnault de Fouchier and Christian Philippsen, three good friends, decided to launch a comparable event in Paris, With the help of the ��Friends of Park of Bagatelle��, the first Classic Automobile Show opened in the Parc of Bagatelle in September 1988 with a surprising number of international entrants. In the following years, Louis Vuitton co-sponsored the event with the ��Automobile Classic�� magazine. Since 1989, the Louis Vuitton Classic has become a real success story. Each year, a special themed exhibition is held
